Where we are

Cannobio is located on the northwestern shore of Lake Maggiore, three kilometers from the Swiss border.

By car:

From Italy: Take the Voltri-Sempione A26 motorway – Exit at BAVENO – Follow SS 34 towards VERBANIA and continue for about 20 kilometers.

From Switzerland: Take the N13 motorway – Exit at Bellinzona Sud. Follow N2 towards LOCARNO until BRISSAGO. After crossing the Italian border, take SS34 for 4 kilometers.

By train

There is no train station in Cannobio. The nearest stations are located in Locarno, Switzerland, and Verbania-Pallanza. Depending on the direction, you can take a bus to Cannobio.

Locarno, Bellinzona: Connections to the rest of Switzerland.
Verbania-Pallanza: Connections to Milan, Italy, and Bern, Switzerland.

By bus

CO public transport connects Cannobio to Brissago, Switzerland, Verbania, and other cities in the region. It provides bus services from Locarno to Brissago at the Italian border.

• From Locarno: Take the bus to Brissago, where you will be able to transfer to an Italian bus.

• From Verbania: At Verbania-Pallanza train station, take the bus to Verbania-Intra on the Omegna-Verbania line. In Verbania, take the bus to Brissago (CH).

• From Stresa: Take the bus to Verbania-Intra.
